Do we need to fear the revolving door?
‘The times they are a changing’, as Bob Dylan would say, and times of crisis tend to amplify the speed and magnitude of change. In the emerging post-Covid economy, it is clear to see how work patterns are changing and how established roles are being reconsidered, reworked and even disappearing. Right now we need to consider how this could affect ourselves as we emerge from the crisis, and also how any new trends are likely to affect our field over the longer term. It is critical that, as a profession as a whole, and as individual coaches, we have a clear vision not of just what we do, but also of the value we bring to both organisations and individuals that we work for
