Integrating injury prevention and athlete preparation: the cricket, athletics and rugby experience
In this session Craig will draw on his significant experience, working in the elite environment in athletics, cricket and rugby, to discuss how injury prevention and athlete preparation has been integrated. BIOG: Dr Craig Ranson is a senior lecturer in sports and exercise medicine at Cardiff Metropolitan University and a physiotherapist with the Wales Rugby Team. His previous posts include UK Athletics Chief Physiotherapist and National Lead Physiotherapist to the England and Wales Cricket Board. Craig is also a consultant to a variety of sporting organisations including the International Cricket Council and the Sports Medicine Department of the University of the West Indies.
