Ben Haines

Competing at the London Olympics has been the culmination of a life time of work for many athletes. This presentation will review the final 12 months of preparation leading into this year’s Summer Games for a group of Australian athletes. Specifically it will present the planning, design and delivery of the strength and conditioning services to these athletes that competed in the sports of Sprint Canoe Kayak, Rowing and Paralympic Track Cycling and why these strategies were chosen. It will also give insight into future directions of focus for these squads.
